Robbie gets all clear

Comical " Robbie " Raffles our former racer has finally got the all clear from the vet. After suffering an almost fatal accident in the New Forest whilst on holiday he has been nursed back to health by his loyal owners.

Whilst on the retired scene it was great to read that a record 4,500 dogs were rehomed in 2007 by the Retired Greyhound Trust. Its increasing every year which is great news for the industry, you do appear to see more dogs in the local parks these days. This figure only includes those rehomed by the Trust, many good owners do find homes themselves for their dogs.

Finally "Yourplaceormine" was rehomed in Kerry by Paddy this week as he decided not to breed from her.
